Who We Are

THE MISSION & GOALS OF BETHANY SCHOOL

School Affiliation

First and foremost, Bethany School is a direct ministry of Bethany Church, our parent organization. Bethany School is fully accredited by WASC (Western Association of Schools and Colleges) and ACSI (Association of Christian Schools International). Our school has a friendly working relationship with the Long Beach Unified School District and other private and public schools in the area. A number of our staff also hold memberships in various professional organizations and take part in regular research-based professional development courses. In addition, we work with the non-profit organization Opportunity Schools in order to provide special education resources for students with unique learning needs.

School Mission

Bethany School has been established to help families raise their children to a saving knowledge of Jesus Christ and to help the Christian young person train for service and leadership for their Lord, family, and church community. The mission of Bethany School is to educate and empower students in a multi-ethnic Christian environment to become productive and spiritually influential members in a diverse society. With support from our community and parental involvement, we will create a positive Christian environment where students can excel, take responsibility, and learn self-confidence, and who will grow to… BELIEVE*ACHIEVE *SUCCEED.
