Bethany School:  We Are Your Solution

The beginning of the school year is rapidly approaching and we are prepared to have a rewarding school year.  Bethany School is a FUTURE FOCUSED campus with Christ at the helm.  Our goal is to provide a safe learning environment for every student.  Our intimate class sizes and seasoned teachers provide a rigorous comprehensive curriculum.  Expect your child to thrive academically socially and spiritually at Bethany School.

Bethany has a long history of high quality education with strong spiritual emphasis.  It is our goal to continue this fine tradition.

Because we are a Christian school, we work in excellence only.  Each teacher, Kindergarten through 8th grade along with support staff, realizes the God given potential of every student.  Through a loving supportive environment, your child will gain perspective of his/her God-given potential and be able to strive competitively with his/her peers locally and abroad.

Parents:  Vested Voices

Partnering with our Parents is vital to the success of our program.  Every parent has a responsibility to partner with Bethany School and are given opportunities to become vested voices in the advancement of not only their student, but every student enrolled.  Through our PTF, Parent Teacher Fellowship, our school is able to grow and flourish in the best interest of our most prize possession – the students.

Excellence Personified

Bethany School is an accredited school.  We hold dual accreditation's with ACSI, Association of Christian Schools International as well as WASC, Western Association of Schools and Colleges.

COVID-19 has brought about interesting challenges to our families, students and our community. Bethany School is not deterred by these challenges.  My staff and I have put into place requirements enabling our campus to comply with the Long Beach Health Department, California Department of Health, Center for Disease Control, the State, and California Department of Education.  Notable measures are being implemented to enhance the safety of our campus extending beyond what is required to provide a COVID-19 safe environment.

The first day of school is Thursday, September 10, 2020 and all three campuses will open; Preschool, Elementary and Middle School.  Bethany School remains sensitive to the needs of all our families and their unique situations due to COVID-19 and will continue to offer Distance Learning for those students requiring this service.

If we are mandated to provide Distance Learning due to the pandemic, Bethany teachers are ready with a digestible at-home curriculum that is not overwhelming, provides group and one-on-one individualized instruction for students allowing for a smooth transition once we are able to resume on campus instruction.
